I like this, lots of detail in the black feathers and the ripples and patterns in the water add additional interest to the scene.

A lovely shot of the duck, Bronia, but I do wonder why you chose portrait format when landscape could have given it far more space to swim into.

it is a lovely shot but I also think it needs room on the right

Lovely detail,I'd like more room on the right, falling that a pano crop may work, love the eye and light captured, really like the wave/shapes of the water too

Yes nice, but I agree more room to the right would help but always difficult with a "flat" bird in a vertical frame.

Well Bronia, if this gets used as a magazine cover you can laugh at us all suggesting a horizontal format. It would certainly work better landscape but if you can mix up your options then it's no bad thing. Lovely detail on the duck.

Hi All thanks for comments, I chose portrait as I have had to clone out half a duck on the right side and was not sure if I could do it successfully, also as it was shot in portrait I was not sure if there would have been enough space on the right side hope this looks better
