During our recent trip to Bosque there was a bit of snow and cold weather. Of course it is winter.

That's nice, Larry.

Most of the time at the Bosque, we are so enthralled with the cranes that we do not see the beauty of the trees. Nice catch.

Very nice winter scene, Larry.
When I see those cranes with their feet frozen into the ice, it brings a whole new perspective to getting out of bed on a cold morning.

Very nice mood in this shot. The golden brown from the tree really helps to offset the grays of winter and the cranes. Wonder if a little more water might help the presentation, but not really necessary given everything else going for the image.

REALLY nice. Love this composition. Says a lot about the moment/season. Nice context.

A nice comp and mood. I like the prominence of the tree.

Like the shot, but looks like it needs a tiny CCW rotation.

Nice composition. I've been there many times and have never experienced snow.

Nice environmental photo of the Bosque.
A Levels adjustment would really make it pop, though.

Interesting mix here--cool shot!

Neither the tree nor the cranes would have the same impact without each other in this shot. Needs a little pop to it as suggested, but an excellent capture.
