Well, I've spent an inordinate amount of time at DIA lately. Flight delays to and from Yellowstone
Thankfully, it's easy to stay entertained there. First, I found a lounge that seems to exist solely to show of Jesse Speers photos on giant HDTV's. Pretty sweet Jesse! Lots of people there watching.
Then, browsing around the bookstore I found Todds book. It was even cover out on a packed shelf.
It's always neat to see things displayed or for sale that were created by people you 'know.'
Anyone else have stuff there I missed?

You need to stop at Lefty's restaurants on Concourses A and C. BrentD has a lot of big, beautiful prints hanging on the walls in both locations.

Thanks Kurt. I've had an incredible response from that display - even some print sales. I finally got to see it in person last weekend ... stopped briefly while running between some B gates.
Lefty's is good place to grab a brew and stare at some excellent images. Brent's prints are VERY impressive.

Seen a bit of the work done by the folks here as I traveled as well. Always great to spend some time enjoying the vision you guys and gals share.

I'll soon be joining the DIA crowd along with Steve Weaver in the CCA juried Capitol Creative show.

I had a photo recently there as part of the Creative Capitol Exhibit. I'll bet there are some other NPN folks that got work into the 4 part show show. Unfortunately they don't have a way to view the work or artists without being in the concourse.

Steve and I are in group 3 of that show. The Denver crowd is up next. The application is through CAFE.

I stumbled onto Jesse's show last month. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to see it all, but the images were certainly impressive on the big LCD monitors.
I was on the upper B concourse looking for Mangelsen's gallery, but apparently that has closed? I assume he still has the other one in the main concourse.

I have a little, itty bitty book there facing spine out that you might be able to find if you spend one hour in the book store. I'll have to find Jesse and Brent's stuff next time I'm there.

i also saw Todd's book in the bookstore at DIA. It was really cool to see work from other RMNPers. Had no idea there was so much work there from RMNP folks- great job!

Thanks for the comment everyone. I don't fly too often it seems, so haven't gotten to see Jesse's stuff yet. Sounds spectacular (which Jesse's stuff always is! )
I've gotten to see the prints at the Lefty's on Concourse C, which are 4'x7'. I've had a number of nice inquires because of them, even a few sales. Sold a large print of that left one last month! Sadly, I haven't gotten to see the ones at Lefty's on Concourse A yet, or even pictures. SO if anyone can snap a shot or two next time they are out there, that would be really cool! I think there's nine 30x40's there.
Congrats to Mel, Steve and Richard on the Creative Capitol Exhibit

I asked my contact at DIA about the dates and location for the CCA exhibit Steve Weaver and I were included in. The exhibit will go up March 2-5 in the Y at the end of the A terminal bridge. It sounds like it will be there until early July when it will be moved to the state capitol and the Denver/NE CO show will go up in DIA. If you are flying through, go through the A-terminal security to check out this show. You can still catch the train to the other concourse.
