Here is my contribution. A true CA icon shot by moonlight. Did not realize it would work so well in extreme pano and loved how the long exposure revealed swirly currents that lead you through the photo.
I hope my processing holds up in this posting. There is quite a bit of detail in the land.
I love CA! Hope to live here one day.

I wanted to also post a B&W version, but the site would not let me saying only one photo every 24 hours??

Guy, I am not a member. But I have seen members add additional photos in in the same thread. So in this case the color version. Then as a comment the B&W. This is especially usefull for adding an *Update Version* based upon feedback.
Otherwise I guess you could wait a day to post the second one.
BTW, very nice shot! I shot the same image with no moon at it was just too dark. So the added moonlight really helps here. I look forward to seeing more of your images.

Guy, Welcome to CANP and great first post. You have really caught the feel of night in the first post. The processing in the black and white is a little better then the color version which is nice but seeing the tones in the rock near the water help bring the viewer's attention there. The elements fit well into the pano frame, nice work!

Guy, the repost is an improvement and I like the B&W too. Nice pano.

The last post has a real nice painterly look to it. For some reason, the artist Eyvind Earle springs to mind when I view this. Nice work!

Thanks everyone for the advice in walking me through this first post. I thought I would be ambitions and try for a contest!
Thanks for all of the kind comments about my image. I had not seen Eyvind Earle's work before and looked it up. I am deeply appreciative of the comment relating my work to his.
Looks like the judges have a plethora of riches to choose from--don't envy them their job!
