Beautifully complimentary background gere Karen. Very attractive birds that I have never managed to photograph.

Male, female...I'd be happy with a shot of either!
Nicely composed and executed shot.
Well done.

A lovely pose and a background that really complements the subject. It does, however, look a little soft on my screen. Maybe another pass of USM?

How ever I agree with David in that it looks a little bit soft.

Nice portrait Karen.
On a personal note the perch grabs my eye a bit, both the colour and the thickness. Minor nits though.
Cheers

A well composed image of a particularly attractive species. Slight nit is the eye catchlight which looks a bit weird, have you tried to brighten it?

thanks everyone,Justin nothing has been done to the eye that was how it was,I don t do much editing at all to my images but think I need to hit the sharpen button one more time by the looks of it

Thanks for explaining Karen. The eye catchlights can look a bit different sometimes, just the way they're catching the light I guess.
