Snow Story
With all of the snow, there are a lot of stories written into it, and more to come...

Pentax K20D, 1/250", f/8.0, ASA 200, 28mm lens; converted to B&W and further tweaked a bit here & there...

Enjoy,

Tim!

Sometimes finding snow without a story is difficult. While snow is not a durable medium it is a sensitive one, it like most of nature is easy to leave an imprint on. Nice image makes me want to read more of the story.

Reminds me of the day I saw similar tracks coming towards the house. I knew they were skunk tracks and they hadn’t been there earlier. I ran to the back door and found the skunk in the garbage can. I love looking for tracks in the snow. Lots of stories can be found in the snow. This one I called the hunted.

One of the things I really appreciate about snow is that it lets me see who's been coming and going through the woods at night. I'm able to "see" the diversity of critters that would otherwise pass unnoticed.

Well captured, Tim.

Good eye, Tim! It's always fascinating to see the various tracks in the snow.
