Back lit Oaks...

...and ridges, above San Luis Reservoir on the Pacheco Pass. This area is covered with Oaks and the high clouds provided enough diffused light to help knock down the contrast some and bring out the lush greens and yellows in the grasses. Taken about 3 hours ago.

It won't be long before the trees are green and the grass is brown. Great California scene, Reno.

Thanks for sharing, Reno. I go to Pacheco State Park sometimes in that
area. This is a pretty scenic.

Well composed! My first inclination would be to darken this, but the more I look at it, I rather like the way you chose to render the subtleties here. Very nice!
