Man, I have about 8 pots, 2 gallon size, each w/a dozen tulips. They were potted last fall, been sitting outside all winter. They are 3-6 inches up..already. We had a bit of frost earlier this week....more comin? So, I figure Skagit Valley tulip fields will be less crowded this year...cause blooms will be 3 weeks early. Here's a tulip shot from Seattle Garden Show last weekend.

Ken, I like the backdrop of the fence against the colorful tulips. Nicely balanced with the daffodils too. This makes for a very nice portrait.

Very nice, I like the colors in this, not over saturated.

Ken,
This is a different perspective with the fence and I like it. It does seem a little crowded on the right side because of the tulip being close to the edge of the frame. A little more room would be nice IMHO!
Now that's an iconic shot of Spring if I ever saw one! "Iconic" in this case meaning the thrill, the color, the quintessential flowers of the season. Great stuff. I like it that the pot is not in view and love the bg. Looks like you had some fun at the show.
