This is full frame no crop taken at my local wetlands, I think the bird may be a little to centered, but I loved the light and the water. This may be my last post for a little while as my camera gear was stolen today, I ran into the market for just a sec and poof GONE!!.
Nikon D-200 300mmf4 spot metered at 1/100th of a sec at f6.3 ISO 250.

Dude, I'm sorry about your gear! Major bummer.

Maybe too centered, but I think the color, definition and the texture of the water make up for it a bit.

Same thing happened to me a few years ago. I think the centering is fine, and yes, nice light and water.

Wade, what a terrible drag. And this was your new camera too?

The image is really nice. The light is great, and the water ripples and reflection are very nice additions.
