I was pretty lucky yesterday. I have also been looking at purchasing a 1D Mark IV and no one has them. I couldn't even find one for sale on theinternet over that last month. Well, a salre rep at Mike's Camera found me one after searching for 2 weeks and called me yesterday (on my birthday)a. Just wish he would have given me a birthday discount
Here are a few shot this morning with it and the new 500mm

#1- I would crop a bit of the left side of the image out. After reducing the image for the web, you may want to sharpen just a notch.
Gee, when I think of dove snacks I used to think of the chocolaty, ice creamy goodness of a Dove Bar. From now on I'll get the image of a bloody, headless dove in the mouth of a raven. Ugh!
I'm with CAZ on this one, no more Dove chocolates for me ;)
But these are pretty incredible images and despite the gross factor it's part of life and you captured it very well.

Nice catch on #3. What a great birthday gift. I'm going to show this thread to my wife hoping she'll get the message and renew my Outdoor Photographer subscription when my birthday comes along.

Excellent work! Love the bokeh that lens produces.
#'s 1 & 3 are my favorites, though #1 could stand to have a Levels adjustment applied.

Nice find.
Great shots, by the way!
And excellent captures with the new 500!
Way to go!

Like the shots. The eagle is a very nice find. Is that some schmutz showing up near the pole in the RH corner region? Might want to clone that out.
As CAZ already stated, the chocolate treat does take on a new meaning now. Ugh. Probably best as I need to loose weight anyway.
