I got a call this week being selected to be in one of the four editors picks for the May edition of Sunset Magazine for Photo Safaris, hopefully get a photo published as well.
I haven't heard about it before, but a friend told me that it was pretty big. Anyone here familiar with Sunset, the magazine that is?

The magazine has been around for nearly a century and it has a good reputation. Its a western lifestyle magazine with articles on travel, food and gardening. Their photography used to be much more spectacular, but in recent years they've changed styles to more mid-day photography with more people in the scene.

Saw Sunset magazine all the time growing up in the Arizona desert. In fact, I recall my Mother having a subscription to it. Plenty of really good photos from out west. I would be thrilled to get a shot in the magazine. Congrats on getting the call.

My parents (and as an adult, I ) subscribed to Sunset for years. A definitely desireable publication to have use your image. Congrats!
