Hi Paul

What a little beauty - the pose and light are perfect. A little more space at the bottom would have been good but a minor point on a very nice image!

Super strong portrait Paul, ideally would prefer a lower viewpoint. :toast: :toast:

Stunning detail. Really beautiful. Might be tempted to remove the small black patch on the left as I find my eye is drawn to it as it is in line with the beak and eye. Very minor nit though. :toast: :toast:

I wish I'd known you were posting this before I put mine on! A delightful shot, I especially like that highlight in the eye.

A little tight on the bottom but the bird itself is superb. :toast:

I also think it is a bit tight on the bottom but otherwise a great portrait.

What a sweet bird, a bit more space at bottom for me, nice shot though.

Thank you for the comments and a slight adjustment to the canvas here is a re-post for comment.

Definitely prefer the composition of the repost Paul but the colours in the bird seem to have lightened. Sorry to be so picky but I prefer the colours in the first image

Paul the original is just fine but the cloning of the second appears to have gone wrong.
The detail in the birds eye has gone a bit wonky.
I would have just cloned the black blob and left the bird alone.
Hope you se what I mean.

Major.
