Little Men in my Tank (captive)
Mozzy spp. Pupae (Culex)
These shots are NOT doctored ,apart from levels, and gamma adjustments.
Been setting up my various tanks in my office, for some serious aquatic photography and spent most of the evening in hysterics. !
I found these little men in tank no 1.They are very small -about7mms and so feel very threatened.
I tried to talk to them but they are very shy. I think they may be aliens !
They don't like the flash because they run away and hide when I take pictures! I can hear them talking but when I approach -they go all quiet !
(I AM going senile )
Got to work some different backgrounds out.
D200
Standard lens and 2 No 4X diopter screw on close up lenses.
Some with 150 macro.
Camera flash on auto.
Makes a change. You have to laugh sometimes. Why die with a frown

it can't be easy to photograph these John, you've done well here. They're certainly different.

John,

Fabulous images. Defiantly worth tying some different backgrounds.

What's odd about talking to your subject? I tell birds and snakes to turn their heads towards the camera all the time. Mind you, they never take any notice.

Seriously, John, this is not easy photography and I think the results are great.
