Noticed this forthcoming book at Amazon titled 'Exploring Havasupai: A Destination Guide to the Heart of the Grand Canyon'.
Might be worth checking out for future visitors (like me!).

Thanks John. I just added that to my wish list.

This book sure would have been helpful to have 5 years ago when I visited the area. I'll have to keep this mind if I decide to return sometime. It's truly a wonderful area. Thanks John.

The nice thing about this book is that they updated it with post flood info just before publishing. It will definitely find its way on my bookshelf the next time I get my butt out there.

It's going on my list, too.
