Autumn Turnstone
Haven't been out much recently, so have been through some of last years files to keep my hand in on PS.....

This obliging Turnstone was shot in North Norfolk in November 09.

1D MKIII, 1/2500, f4, iso400, -1/3.

n.b., the orange effects behind/around the right leg are a reflection rather than process artifacts....

John obviously like it then! This is the second or third time recently I have seen comments repeated, is there some sort of glitch on the server I wonder? Nice portrait anyway, Graham.

Thanks Chaps. I'm looking at this now on my fathers uncalibated screen and it looks slightly over saturated and soft and with blown whites  Certainly doesn't look that way on my home PC.

Anyway, re the double posts - I've found it happens if you refresh your browser rather than clicking on UKPN......

Agree with Graham a little over saturated and lacks critical sharpness that said a nice LPOV close-up!

A good strong portrait. I like the complimentary coloured background.

Hi Matey

The beak is sharp, but the eye looks a tad soft. Agree, it does look a tad too saturated, also if you have more in the image it might be better to be a little smaller in the frame as I find it a little too big.

Thanks for comments guys - I was seriously surprised to see how the image looked on a screen other than my own. As for the sat, I pushed it 1 notch on the slider - looks like even that was too much.

I've another TS image that I've just come across, so will post that once my timer tells me I can post again....... :wavey:

A very nice close-up image. Saturation easily sorted out.
