I'll be moving to Colorado at the end of the month and with looking for a place to live and moving, I don't expect to do any more photography for a while.
This is Cascade Creek in Fairfax.

A telling image Dan,
Your now being swept along life's stream like the flecks of foam passing by the rock, downstream is the future. Good luck again.

Well, at least you're going to Colorado. I guess it could be worse. Good luck, Dan.

I hope you really take advantage of a different area to photograph. Sorry to lose you. Good luck!
Dan, Have a great time - beautiful vistas, mountains, and flowers await you there!
Hope you get settled in soon and have a chance to explore quickly.

Dan,
I just moved *back* ~1.5 years ago to CA after living in CO for several years.
CO is an awesome state for landscape photography. Make sure and participate in the RMNP forum. Those guys are really great! And they are even friendly to the new guys coming out from CA.
Two things you must see while there: The San Juans in the Fall and the San Juans in the Spring (Spring wildflowers actually arrive in July big time;) Both experiences are out this world!
And if you can swing it consider getting a 4x4. There are literally 1000s of 4x4 roads and some of the best places which can only be reached via 4x4 like American Basin, Yankee Boy Basin, etc...
Most of all enjoy!

Your images and posts will definitely be missed here in CANP, but I look forward to seeing your Colorado images in ES&S in the future. Happy Trails!
