A Non Bittern posting
Thought I would post a "non Bittern" photo, just to see if I could remember how. We have had some gorgeous sunny weather this week in the Pacific Northwest and starting to see some early pairing of birds. This green-winged teal was shot yesterday and in evaluating the detail, comp, colors and water I think it may be my best of this species.

I agree with your eval of this image, Craig - it just stands right out for me as a very, very good image of this species!

This is sweet. Excellent color, light, and positioning. The larger image really pulls it all together. Well done, Craig. :toast:

I never thought I would ever see a shot of a duck as good as this. The smooth ripple with the sutble reflection really sets it apart. Probably the best I've seen. Congrats! :toast:

With that type of pattern on the wing, this is one shot that MUST be sharp, and is is to a beautiful extent.
