Does any one use and like Bibble?

Is it a good substitute for PhotoShop + ACR + Bridge?

Does it compare favorably to Lightroom?

Buck,,I can't comment on the newest version they have just put out, but the one before it seemed buggy to me. It would not keep the layout that I preferred, and opening a file was not as easy as I thought it should be. I un-installed it and I now use DXO. I think they have a trial version you can download and take it for a spin.

Hi Buck,

One factor mighgt be the huge number of good and free Photoshop tutorials out there, I've learnt loads that way. That resource just isn't there for Bibble, other than some on their website. And what about plugins too?

Cheers,

Rob

Hey Buck,

as I'm just playing with RAW converters, I gave Bibble a quick try on one of my recent shots. Overall I like how it works (especially the layers stuff). But there's one thing that I noticed. When I use the "Chromatic Aberration" correction, my image lost quite some details. Even if I used it with very low settings. Not to compare to what capture does for example. Maybe verify that.
So far I'm quite fond of Capture One Pro. Not the most intuitive interface but very nice crisp and high-contrast results.
