Lee Valley or anywhere close by.....????

Hi all

I am heading to Hertfordshire/London this weekend and have a full day to spare, just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of any good sites??? Im staying in Buntingford on the Fri eve and then heading to London (central) for sat eve....

I was looking at Lea Valley but having never been dont know what to expect?? or any other sites would be good

There is a good hide for bitterns at fishers green on the Lea valley system, I know there have been there recently but i guess somebody will confirm if they are still around

My favourite is Rye Meads, near Hoddesdon. Chance of Bittern there too.

The bitterns where showing well in Lea Valley about 2 weeks ago. I would phove the Nature reserve and find out the state of play.
