Hoar Frost
I woke up yesterday to find everything in our yard here in the Springs covered in hoar frost. Quite a beautiful scene, with the fog in the air, the snow on the ground, and the frost on everything else it was definitely a study in shades of white. This first one is from my yard looking up at Cheyenne Mountain. The rest of the photos were also taken in the yard.

Hi Scott

All the shots are very nice. #2 is my favorite.

Great serious, I love number three.

Who you callin' a hoar?!
Those are really cool. I'm with Jody, that fence shot is very interesting. I like #3 a lot, too.

These are wonderful, Scott. I love 2, 3, and the fence image. I bet at a larger size, #4 looks great.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Paul, #4 does look really cool viewed at a larger size where you can see the ice crystals a lot better.

Definitely interesting shots, especially the close-ups. 2, 3, and 4 for me too. Not a bad haul from your own yard!

I really like #2 and #3.

Way cool! We've had some really awesome frozen fog this month (in Indy), but of course I haven't had my camera with me to shoot it. Great captures Scott!

Wow, that last fence shot is awesome! The others are quite good as well, but the last one is definitely my favorite.

Great series, but I really love that fence shot...amazing!

I really like #3 & #5, the pattern of the frost really jumps out at you in those two. Great series!.

A very nice collection. That leaf shot (#2) really stands out for me.

A great set. I like #2 and the fence shot is really cool.

Some remarkable crystals! That fence is unique.

That is some killer frost. Almost literally. Fascinating formations. The detail of #2 is great, and I really like the comp of #4 (maybe without vignette).

I like the forms and tones in #3.

Another big fan of the fence, although I like 'em all.

The fence shot is sweet!

I like 2&3 and the fence too! The others have potential, but the bright bg is making it hard to make out the frost detail.

Great stuff! Like the detail and the BW in the second image.
