Since there are quite a few Eagle shots on this website I thought I would share this link of an Eagle and Deer encounter take in Illinois. Photos aren’t the best but the story is dramatic.

Very interesting series, great action shots! I thought golden eagles were rare in the Midwest, if so you have a rare bird for the area in a rare situation! Thanks very much for posting.

That must have been one hungry eagle. Also an immature bird--so maybe not too bright, either.
