Lovely Owls they are indeed. Nice image, although there appears to be a slight colour cast on my monitor?

Paul.

Its a very nice shot but looks a bit "flat" a bit more processing will make it "pop" lots more , I just did auto levels which took out the yellow-grey cast, contrast +5 and saturation +8 and it looked great!

Hi thanks for the replies, as with most of my images, the PP always lets me down. I need to pay more attention to PP ,, and take my time before posting.!!
I must admit i am on a bit of a downer at the moment, as alot of my images dont seem to get alot of feedback. !!

It's unlikely to have anything to do with the quality of your images but is more likely the extremely limited input you offer on other peoples images. Your posting statistics show you've posted 134 images but have only commented 226 times and most of those were in response to comments on your own image. No one will bother taking the time to offer advice and suggestions on your photos if you're not prepared to do the same.
I hope this doesn't come across as too harsh, but you did ask.
A good guideline, that's been mentioned numerous times over the years, is to try and offer ten comments for every image you post yourself. The more you put in to the forum, the more feedback others will offer in return.
Your image looks a lot better with the colour cast corrected on the re-post. I think it would stand just a little more contrast though. The perch works well and the bird is a nice size in the frame.
