Spent the weekend waiting and watching these beauties. It was very exciting to me as I have never seen one before, also very frustrating as they didn t come close enough for me to get the quality shot I would have liked. But I hope to improve on the ones I did get and hopefully get them nearer as I had to crop a bit more than I would have liked. At least I had some lovely light. So fingers crossed for next time.

Bird looks a bit soft but I had to find a nit because I'm just very envious

Well done. Just keep on trying. You will get the shot you want.

Hi Karen

I echo Ed's nits but otherwise spot on. A touch more USM should make it pop.

Beautiful

thanks everyone I know it could maybe do with a bit more of a sharpen etc but with the crop didn't want to do to much else to it maybe I could have got away with a tad more
