Beaver pond...
...in Lundy Canyon, taken last Oct during the NPN get together. I'm sure most folks that have been up Lundy Cyn have a shot of this pond and/or the Indian Head rock. I have plenty of the pond but without snow. I liked the flat light and the contrast between the snow and the brown grasses.

Went there on my scout before the gathering sure looks different under a blanket of white, I love seeing places as they change in the seasons or under diffferent light and weather conditions. Well done Reno.

It's nice to see this area with snow on the ground. I didn't realize that so much snow fell during that storm. Nice image.

Last year was the first year I didn't make it to the eastern Sierra over Columbus weekend. In 2008 we got a really good snowfall that weekend which forced me to move my trailer from Mammoth to Bishop to get warm.

Anyway, this is a nice shot of the pond. I am curious, has anyone ever seen beaver here?

I've always wanted to stop and check this place out, but for whatever reason I never have. Seeing this reminds me I need to make an effort to do so one day. Love what the snow brings to the image here. Looks like a great setting to explore.
