Rails
Lots of rain and overcast sky at the refuge today but the virginia rails didn't seem to mind. I had a pair entertain me for almost an hour.

Craig,
I really like that pose. Plus the color of the beak is nicely vibrant.

I'll be persnickety and say clone out the tallest blade of grass.

Sweet shot.

What a nice looking bird and a good shot. The pose and comp are both very nice.

Beautiful bird, Craig. I like the pose, positioning, and catchlight on the eye. I'd wish for just a bit more room on the left though...feels a bit tight. Beautiful color as Cliff mentioned.

Nice image of a rarely seen and photographed bird Craig.
