Black Headed Gull
Hi everyone, many thanks for all the kind comments on my Barn Owl upload yesterday! I went to a local 'lake' straight from work today to practice my panning technique(not easy), I took some bread in the hope of getting some ducks in flight, but was quickly mobbed by greedy Black Headed Gulls. This light was very flat, and this is the result of 185 shots. All comments and tips most welcome. :wavey:

Canon EOS 7D, Sigma 150-500mm lens.

A nice detailed image Paul but a shame about the OOF gulls in the background :wavey:

Hi Maggie, really appreciate you're comments. I did wonder whether to clone them out or not. Here is a re-post with the clonning done.
Regards,
Paul. :wavey:

Hi Paul
Nice flight shot. Looks a tad flat on my monitor.
Maybe need "lifting" a bit with levels or brightness/ contrast.
Cheers

The second one is better, but I agree with John about lifting the image a little. However, it is still a good capture of an under rated species.

Nice captured indeed, Paul. I also prefer the second one.
