One thing nice about Sedona is there is something there for everyone whether it be a Vortex or some photography. Now that I'm gone I wish I would of at least stood in a vortex there just to see if it got me a feeling, what kind of feeling I have no idea. I did get an odd feeling later when I got my first massage (girlfriend talked me into it) the guy asked if I would like my glutes massaged? No! Poor guy probably has to do that when he'd rather not. Anyway enough of that, I found this little forrest off of one the jeep trails. They sure make it hard for us to drive over the barricades those outfitting companys build at the beggining of the trail.
Well one thing's for sure: the chaotic image is a perfect reflection of your chaotic thought process

Lots of little interesting scenes within this scene, but as a whole it just doesn't work for me.
Cropping the right about an inch and a half or so (square?) helps make this a bit more orderly.
I've admired much of your work over the years at ES&S, so I don't feel bad in saying that this isn't one of your better pieces.
I'd like to see the left half as a vertical. All those crazy angles are interesting.

Thank you guys, there is always number two. I have stuff I've been sitting that I'm curious about.

I find it a little too busy also, Steve. I do like the color and the light you captured. I would suggest a woman masseus for the glute work.

Yes, a little chaotic. I like the right half of the photo better than the left. The colors are really great.

Thanks guys, I'll post another one from a few steps back showing the scene above the tree line.

A little busy, though I like the angles. The rocks seem a wee a bit cut off on the bottom. Love your stuff on ESS!

This is striking Steve. Great color contrast. For me, there's maybe a bit too much going on at the edges of the image. But I appreciate the composition challenges from the limited viewpoint. Looks like a STEEP hillside. I like the chaos, by the way.
