Last of Winter?
Yesterday morning I awoke to snow falling silently, covering everything in sight. When all was said and done, we had received close to a foot of new snow. For once, the wind didn't intrude and left tree branches with a beautiful coat of white.
This image was taken through one of my windows while it was still snowing fairly hard, giving this Beech tree a softness which I thought was quite fitting, considering the weather situation.
C&C always welcome.

I really like the quiet softness of this image, Toni. We're supposed to get up to a foot of snow here starting later today. Doesn't look like winter's done with us yet.

Toni...
Nice shot. I find it beautiful and eerie at the same time. Being an "old Northerner" I don't miss the snow, but still love to look at it. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice high key image, Toni. I like the composition and the almost pastel feeling to it. :toast:

Simple yet beautiful and right from your own window. Proof we don't have to travel to the ends of the world to find great photos! Well seen & captured.
