This is just a heads up:
do not install the latest wacom driver when you are running the 64bit version of LR, It will cause LR (for some unknown reason) to fail launching.
I wasted quite a bit of time figuring this out so i just wanted to share this to prevent some of you the same trouble.
A few posts on the adobe forums have a similar problem

I take it that this only applies to LR no other programs?

I cant say for sure Greg.
But if you run in any trouble installing the latest wacom driver, it might be a good place to start looking
