Hi all, it has been a very long time since I last posted, I am sorry, but I have been otherwise occupied...the camera hasn't been out of the bag for somewhile now. Please forgive my lack of comments, but I am sure some of you may know why....

This was taken last weekend on a cold but very pleasant Saturday.

40D, 300mm, ISO 400, f6.3, 1/250th.
A slight crop, sharpening and clone done by a very good friend of mine....

Nice one.... it was very nice being with a very special person, and again who got the shot :wink:

Oh, just to add a little more reason for our absence recently, Fran accepted my proposal of marriage the previous weekend..... :jump: :jump:

A nice detailed image with nice catchlight in the eye. Good composition and BG.

Hi Fran

That's a fine dunnock shot that would only have been improved if the bird had been resting on the peak of the mossy perch. Nice one.

Congrats to you both - no squabbling over photo equipment! :biggrin:

Phil and I would like to say a big thanks to all of you for your kind comments with regards to the image. But more importantly, thanks for your congratulatory messages. Phil and I are very happy indeed, and once we have both come down to earth a bit, we will become more active again in the forums.
