Just sitting in Mac Donalds in Amsterdam airport. Decided to kill some time by doing a quick upload of one of the photos taken this past week on the island of Texel, with Rene De Heer. A good week...apart from the weather, which was dense fog for almost the entire trip. Still, you can't win them all! This was taken yesterday, the last day when the fog cleared although it was still quite grey and raining all day.
Quick edit, not a huge fan of using the Macbook Pro for editing as hard to tell where you are at with screen contrast etc on a laptop.
D3 with 600mm, 1.4x TC, f8, 1/1600, ISO 5000 (no noise reduction, pah, who needs a D3s!! )

Great action shot Richard, hopefully some more UKNP members appreciate your image. I will not tell how much time we invested in the hare images.....

I don't think you should crop this any tighter, those flying bits of mud are an important part of a cracking image.

Thanks all for the comments. Yep, a lot of hours put in with the Hares...all good fun
Craig, I'm unable to get away in the first two weeks of May due to work but I wish you every success
I opted not to go for the tight crop for the reason you mention David S, the flying bits of mud add to the image IMO. Although I must admit it does look better at higher res as a lot of the small mud particles are lost at this size.
