Wacom Bamboo Pen - What's This For?

I have a brand new Pen and Tablet and before I could get a chance to teach myself how to use it the pen was misplaced and could not be found. I ordered and received a new pen yesterday and along with it was a round metal band that fit loosely around the pen and a small bundle of small plastic sticks (for lack of a better way to describe them). I have no idea what these are for and there's no instructions that came with the tablet or the pen. I was hoping that they were a way to attach the pen to the tablet so it wouldn't get misplaced again but I don't see how.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Greg,

The little plastic sticks are nibs for the pin. The round metal band is, I believe, the nib extractor. You should be able to find instructions for changing nibs in the owner's manual.

I have an Intuos4 tablet and pen. The pen has a little stand that it rests in when not in use. The other nibs are stored inside the pen holder.

You might want to poke around the Wacom website to see if there is a stand for the pen that comes with the Bamboo.
