Very disturbing in a number of different ways. Even more disturbing if it actually draws bids. I think it was H. L. Mencken who said something like, "No one ever went broke underestimating the power of human stupidity."

Hard to believe that any one would bid on those, but who knows?

Not to toot my own horn guys; but I took a photo in the mountains in '03 [B & W film] that I've held on to that makes this one look like a virgin Mary on a grilled cheese sandwich. I've told Jim Erhartd about it but have to get it copyrighted first and since it's in stored away [I work on the road] will take a little while to get to. I'm thinking of putting it on Nature Photographers.

It's been looked at by a professional photog who says it couldn't have been photoshopped and everyone that looks at it finds something in it. I've been wanting you guys to see it; it's not anything to brag about. Getting the shot was so easy a caveman could have done it. It's just a cool shot.

After I get it copyrighted [have to look into how to do it], I'll post it here.

Hey Steve - Everything you shoot is copyrighted the moment you shoot it - there's no need to copyright anything. The only thing you CAN do is register the copyright with the government, which changes your potential damage collection if someone violates the copyright.

(Also note, that in a digital image there's no such thing as "can't be photoshopped". It might be tedious or difficult, but ANYTHING can be done. If it can be represented as pixels, it can be "photoshopped".)

Ah, we'll see David. I'll post it soon. The proof I have that it isn't photoshopped is the fact that everything was recorded on the negative. I then had it professionally drum scanned.

Like I said however, anyone could have taken this; just have to be in the right place at the right time.
