I've spent an awful lot of time with these guys over the past few months and have for once can truly say that I've learnt a good number of things about my subject. I've been documenting them not long after they arrived at this particular site. I've seen them hunt, mobbed, defence, fight, and now more recently some breeding behavioural air-displays. It has been a real education and of course privilege.

This was from a quite, wonderful evening just as the winter sun was setting. This male came very close to me - it was one of those moments that leave you smiling for the rest of the day.

PS: the lens is still available for sale - no sensible offer refused

A monor nit would be the tree in thae back centre but no big deal.
