Turnstone feeding
Two weeks ago I spent several hours, photographing Turnstones. This one was feeding along a groyne on the beach.
Nikon D80 @ 500 mm, iso 200, f6,3, 1/400 sec. on a groundpod.

Hi Sandra,

A little central for me but I do like this, great little bit of action caught, with a great PoV.

I agree with Phil, there is too much space behind the bird. What a great piece of action though.

Hi Sandra,

a lovely shot and well caught but could do with a bit more space on the left.

Fine for me as you have homed into the little bit of action that is going on. The bigger in frame the better as far as I'm concerned.  An excellent shot.

Works for me Sandra, although I would agree it is a little too central, any more on the lhs? Good colour and the action makes it. Perhaps a tad off the top? :toast:

Superb timing, love the action you've captured here Sandra! I'm not bothered by the room on the right but I'm not a huge fan of the oof fg, but thats just me  Great image!
