My post of my last trip to the Flatirons mentioned how grateful I was for the gifts of great light and color. This was a repeat of more beautiful light and color, but just not where I had planned. The color was everywhere but where I had set up my comp with the Flatirons, so I tried to make do with where it was best from where I was. Still another glorious morning to be out.

#3 is definitely a keeper. A pastel delight!
I feel your pain, Morris. It makes those times when the best sky coincides with the best composition that much more special.
That's one beautiful sunrise!
These don't compare with the results of your previous excursion (that's a high bar you set for yourself!), but it all comes together perfectly with #3. If I could come away with one shot that good, I'd be thrilled!
Thanks, guys.
Bill, you are absolutely right. It is special for all of us when all the elements do come together.
Nick, give me a heads up if you plan to go there and I will try to meet you. Maybe you can show me some great comps.
