Peregrine falcon
I have not posting a lot for quite sometime. Mainly due to my extensive travels abroad for work. Last week i spent on the Dutch island of Texel with Richard Peters. Weather wasnt fantastic but it was great to photograph a hare family of 20 individuals and as icing on the cake this beautiful raptor.

Nikon D3/4.0-500VR/1.4 converter/beanbag

Hi Rene, a cracker.

The subdued BG (just right) juxtapose to the dark colouring of the Peregrine really works extremely well, especially with the falling rain. You have to feel sorry for the bird. Love the 'perch', as it just makes the whole image so natural. An arresting image.

Great composition, and he looks really fed up at more snow.
