I am planning a Photo Trip to Lake Aloha and a few of the surrounding lakes for May 21 and 22 time frame and wondering if anyone would like to come along and share in the photo experience. We would meet up in the Lake Tahoe area the night of the 20 and take off for the lakes around 7 the next morning. My current plans are to spend the night out near Lake Aloha on the 21 so I expect reasonably cold conditions with healthy amounts of snow and ice to be found mixed in with the hills and lakes of the area. It would be nice to exchange photo knowledge with a few people while trying to capture some great images out in the desolation wilderness.
I will also be doing day hikes into the area near Buck Lake and Fontanellis/spider lake on the 14 and 15 of may if that works better for people. If you are interested in any of these hikes reply to this post or email me at raymond.marlow@hotmail.com and hopefully we can set up a great trip.
