I like the layers in the first one. Great color in the second I just wish more was in focus

I find myself agreeing with the other posts, Aaron The colors in #2 are fabulous and the composition is good, but the shallow depth of field causes the image to suffer.

I'm probably in agreement with you guys on the 2nd shot. I'm sure I have one that has more DOF. I was mainly trying to test the Canon 17mm Tilf/Shift, so some have more DOF and some have less...

Looks like you found some worthy images Aaron. Amazing color in the first image, is that frost on the hillside behind the colorful trees?
