John I shot this at home after work. I did find it at work though. I was finishing up a landscape job and was supposed to cover this flower up with sod so I dug it up and took it home. It now has a home in my backyard. Now I get to shoot it as much as I want. One of the perks of my job I get lots of free plants, trees and shrubs that other people don't want in their yards. I have landscaped my entire backyard with free stuff, that I got paid to remove.
Yea Zach this is the Sigma. I am planning on wearing it out with flower shots over the next couple months.
BTW those water drops on the flower actually survived the car ride home, I'm not really sure how though.

That's really nice Matthew. I like the water drops and the natural look to it.
I can't believe this made it home with the water droplets! Way cool!
On a note about your landscaping, Mike and I...years ago, transplanted an entire hedgerow from a house that was being demolished a few houses down from ours. We pulled up the hedges with his truck and replanted the entire row next to our house. Every one of those things lived! I couldn't bare to see them just plowed under. Free is good!
I love the shot by the way...beautiful soft light.

Interesting little flower. Hopefully it will thrive in your backyard.
