High Tide- 'Arty' +Crop
An 'arty' photo of high tide at Snettisham in Norfolk, while I was trying to capture different images of the flocks using a slow shutter speed I managed to just catch these four as they took off, with the sun coming up to the right, side lighting them just a little adds to the image I feel.

Works for me too. Compositionally a wee bit more space to the left would be good. Always good to see images that show what a subject does rather than what it is.

Difficult to get right, and it looks like you've succeeded.  This type of image is very subjective and it works for me. Well done indeed. :wavey:

Hi Craig

Love the movement in this image - my only nit is the composition of the birds is not ideal, but there was nothing you could do about that!

Hi Craig

The whole image hangs on the sharpness of the bird in the centre of the 3 on the right - this is what makes it work. I agree with the comment about more space left, but over all this works well. Like it - well done.

Cheers
Chris

Have you thought about a portrait of the three right hand birds? Not sure if it would work, comp isnt my strong point but would be interesting to see?
