Great Tit
remote control through window. Camera outside though ! Too cold for me out there. Home made remote out of a minolta radio control.

It's not quite there with the focus/sharpness IMO but certainly a tricky project to get just right, which I'm sure is only a matter of time.
A good natural backdrop and I like the size of the bird within the frame.

Certainly a great attempt, I wonder if fill in flash would be helpful? Looks like you have another project, John!

10 out 10 for effect John - as David says, a bit of fill flash, perhaps diffused, might just be the icing on the cake.

First rate effort - looking forward to more :wavey:

Well John, as Andy has said, well done for trying something different. OK it's not quite there, but, remote, outside etc, I think it's a cracking attempt.

BTW 'Home made remote out of a minolta radio' was that by 'Heath Robinson?' LOL

Hi John,

good effort as mentioned nearly there :toast:

I shot over 200 frames the other day with a wired cable release and a 35mm lens and got bugger all for my efforts apart from a cold as I had not got the sense to do it from indoors

Thanks all.
Silly me again ! There was only the head anything like, and I,ve forgotten to sharpen after downsizing again.
Fill in flash would be no good with my flash sync speeds anyway :frown:
I think I only took about 20 shots just to try the system. It will soon be pool time again anyway.
Cheers

hi john

great atempt indeed, these (all small birds) are very difficult to capture - in flight shots, i have spent many hours doing the same, all the best
