...another one of those spots most that shoot the east side have probably been to, the falls on Lee Vining Creek, in the Lee Vining Creek campground. This was from last Oct, not much fall color but the creek is always nice. Shot very late in the day, low light, in fact, a group of campers were setting up their site adjacent to the creek and using flashlights to see what they were doing.

Pretty quiet around here lately, where is everyone?

I think I know this spot, Reno.... Fall color? Was there any last year?... :jump:
This looks really good to me, even as you stated, in low light. When I shot this the year before your image was captured, the water was much lower.

The S curve works nicely here, Reno. I spend a lot of time along the east side, but I haven't gotten up to this area yet. That's going to change soon.

Nice, Reno! The print is beautiful! I sure miss the East Side!

Rudy: This is located at the west end of the Aspen CG. To get there from Lee Vining...

Take Hwy 120 toward Tioga Pass. Turn left on Poole Power Station Rd (If you go past the closure gate, you've gone to far). At the 'T', make a right turn. Go about 1.5 miles. The CG will be on your left, just past a big meadow. Go to the far end of the campground. You can't miis it.

What a beautiful setting. I love the way my eye meanders up through the flow of the river. Good stuff!
