Okay guys. I looked over everyones suggestions and worked on another flower macro shot. I think I used most everyones suggestion where I could. It's a different flower than the last with more color. I liked this shot as well as the last just different reasons than the last.
I hope I got it mostly right this time :)
Suggestions and feedback are always welcomed. Thanks again on the feedback on the last shot. I learned alot!
Lynn, I really like the flower, but my first impression is that there are lots of distracting elements in this composition. I much preferred the simplicity of your first post.
If it were my image, I would crop off the right side to completely remove the in-focus bud.
That's just my bias. See if you think it makes a difference.
Hi Bill,Don and John---I went back and cropped the right side. It looks cleaner and focuses more on the main flower. I just like the bud :) Maybe the bud could be a composition in itself? So many choices and decisions.
Does this one "pop" more so than the last one?
Is there a way to repost the new cropped version?

Lynn, as you compose your next macro of a flower, consider filling the frame with the flower.
Was the aperture of your macro lens wide open when you photographed this flower?
Just wondering if that might have helped throw the busy background more out of focus.

Sure does!

A little judicious pruning would have helped as the focal point of the image should have been that flower.
