Bit confused with the price and the warranty aspect on this lens. Can you clarify if this lens would be covered by Canon Support in the UK? Also if I was to order this lens on an American website brand new including import duty - I would be paying the price advertised as the second hand price (as above).

The lens was bought and imported to the UK by an Ebay seller called Ian Kerr (Kerso) all UK taxes and imports have been paid.
The lens is covered under Canons International warranty which Canon UK will cover. I checked this with Ian before the purchase.
I will provide the original receipt with the sale and i can also provide you with Ian's email address if you wish to confirm this independently.
the cost of the lens from BHPhoto Video would be $4,200 or £2,744 after delivery and taxes from the US it would be $5,558 or £3,671.

Edit: I paid £3,229 for the lens including delivery so i feel £3,100 is a fair price.

It comes with rear lens cap, front leatherette cap, lens hood, neck strap and hard case.
