Hi Philip,

Love this! The blur and spray is great and I think the ivy climbing up the post tops the image off nicely with a little added interest. Nicely done.

Cheers,

Lewis.

I like this a lot Philip, well executed and good to see a different tac on the 'standard BOAS' kingfisher. the splash marks really give emphasis to the thrashing head. :toast: :toast: :toast:

Cracker! Way better than a bird on a stick. This is real action and tells me far more about what kingfishers do. Excellent work.

Different, but it works for me.

Phillip,
In an age where still pictures are competing against moving pictures, this one shows why stills are miles better. It captures detail beautifully along with the motion. It also makes our imagination work like no video could ever do.
Superb. :toast: :toast: :toast:

Head and shoulders above anything I've seen on this species for a very long time. Stunningly good portral of what a kingfisher does. Top, top shot.

Cheers,
Chris
