One from this afternoon, Water Vole emerging from the shadows, thanks for looking and thanks for the comments on my last post, they are always appreciated.
I'm now on my second 7D, the first one was a real lemon when it came to sharp images and to be honest this one isn't much better, so to those of you that own one, do you have any prefered settings for static subjects or birds in flight.
Hi Andy. Great image. I know how you feel about the 7D. I had one that was like your first one- just didnt want to focus! i reckon 90% were just slightly out of focus. Good luck with trying settings that work!!
Nice one Andy, very nice. Mark and myself were only saying yesterday we need another bash at these!! Finally given up on the mk3 or just trying out a new second body??
Nice capture. Love the background colouring/surrounding. Very nice indeed.
Sorry can't help with the camera - I use a proper one i.e. Nikon

Eh up Andy,
No mate, still have the old mk3, bought the 7D as a second body after reading some very positive reviews, unfortunately they were'nt describing my 7D which isn't that good this is my second 7D and if it's still not performing in a months time I'll get rid for a 1Dmk2.
It's a shame because I really like the handling and the speed of focus, and the focus tracking capabilities wipe the floor with the mk3, but most of the images are not sharp which isn't acceptable.
Hope you and the family are well and speak soon.

Nice one Maggie if I could afford to switch to Nikon I'd do it in a heart beat

Hi Andy,
Very nice shot despite camera trouble!
I had a 7D, sent it back, got another, and then sent that back, so you are not alone. I won't be bothering with another thats for sure!!
I'm glad you got something decent to reward your endeavour for getting out when the light was far from ideal. It's become quite the spot for volies over the last few years so long may it continue.
