Hi Simon
Better than any hare shot I have but is a little large in the frame and needs more space to the left I think. dropping the gamma would help too.
Cheers

i'll drop the gamma a little john but the crop was only small and it was full frame so couldnt really give any more room (its a hard life hey  )

a touch less gamma

Jeez you must have been close Simon, but not sure composition works, would suggest here a tight crop on the face and paws. :wavey: :wavey:

Definitely prefer the first one Simon. I'm not sure whether it needs a touch in levels and maybe another pass of USM. (No expert I'm afraid). Think Philip's suggestion re the crop might be interesting. :wavey:

The close-up viewpoint certainly focuses the viewers attention on the grooming.
I think the image would benefit from a slight curves adjustment to possibly bring the brightness down slightly and maybe increase the black point very slightly.

BIF certainly emphasises its behaviour. Excellent.
