Not in full colour yet. I love the transparent eye lens on this one.
Taken under licence.

Nice image but the newt is rather tight in the frame and i would have preferred to have it "loose" from the vegetation.

Hi John I think I would prefer a touch more room on the left and bit more on top but a cracking image. Lovely detail and colours. :wavey:

Thanks both
I'll have a play later It was difficult to crop as the head would end up past that dreaded middle line.

I know what you mean but if there's no vegetation they tend to sink

Hi John,

The pano crop works well, but I also prefer a bit more room on the left. Otherwise a lovely image.

a nice looking specimen John. Maybe a bit more room around it but still looks good to me.

Thanks all.
The only way I can get more room is by adding canvas as this is the full shot apart from top and bottom. The left side wouldn't be too bad but it would put the head too far right ?
Interesting one though.

BIF just how I like 'em   A slight niggle for me is its shadow against the BG, but what the heck its still an excellent shot.

Well here we go !
This is a rework.I have had to enlarge the canvas, Stick some more Fontinalis and Mint leaves in from about 6 other images etc , etc, - a complete pain !!! Is it all worth it ?
I still prefer thje original.
Good training though. If you look closely you will be able to see the mistakes(two identical Hydra ! ) but that's not the point.
Cheers
