Joe, you are a fellow Michigander! I too am feeling the call. Looked out the window yesterday, the seventh day in a row of sunshine and gradually moderating temperatures. The snow is receding and more and more of the flowerbeds are peaking through. What was snowcover just a few days ago has given way to the baring of the ground. And the rising of the Snow Drops. Small flowers that are the first ones to brave the elements and come forth. And I noticed last night that it is taking longer for night to take over, the days are getting longer. Spring is not far behind. Oh, I imagine that Winter will still rear its head, but it is on the way out. Thank you for the inspiration for the anticiapted changing of the seasons.
Joe - stunning image! 54f and sunny today. Won't be long...

Beautiful, Joe. This warm stretch has me eager to get out shooting. Anyone know where to find yellow lady-slippers in Ohio? I haven't found them in the CVNP.
